Since iam looking for a new computer i need some more money. I have a xbox 360(broken), gamecube, psp, and a ps2, all that i dont use. I also have about 30-40 games. How much money can i make if i sell of that to gamestop?

I am not sure but i think that i heard some news that craigslist were ripping people off. Is that true?

Craigslist is just a free classifieds. People that you deal with there are local people. You'll meet them in person and get paid in cash. People can try to lowball you, but there is no real way to get ripped off selling something on Craigslist.

I see thanks for the advice. Cause if i went to gamestop i will probably be doomed. I knew that but i didnt know any other place. Anyways how much you think can make on craigslist

Just make sure you only take cash for whatever you're selling. I'd get a small TV and extension cord to allow the person to test out what you're selling him on your front porch.

I'm not to keen on letting strangers enter my home. :D

LOL

or just give the buyer a one day trial and let him try it out at his own place

I think ill will just sell the stuff and tell them tocontact me if there is something wrong.

Btw, pohtaytoez i can sell the xbox rigth now because iam on vaction until august 20 something. So i will get back to you on that one.

You might have some trouble selling it then. There is sort of a Craigslist etiquette... for items that can be tested on the spot like an iPod/PSP/laptop it's not unusual to meet at a neutral location like a nearby parking lot. But for items that need to be plugged into a wall and/or TV to be tested, it's necessary to invite the person into your home.

I would never hand over cash before testing an item on Craigslist, and many are the same way. The legal stance on this sort of in person cash transaction is "as is", so you best make sure it works before paying.

That's the worst idea for dealing on Craigslist.

"I don't trust you enough to come into my house, but here, you can hold onto my valuables for a day."

sheesh... some people...

the buyer would obviously pay before taking it home, if he is not satisfied with the product then he has one day to return it. I use this method all the time over long distances but the buyer has to pay shipping if he wants to return the item.
