How noisy are the GF8800 cards and are OC ones noisier ? (silent user)

Is sounds kind of gay to worry about the noise but I always liked the idea of flipping the switch and hearing nothing. (relaxing.. getting older and stuff lol) I am currently using a 7600GT-Silent but I want to upgrade to a 8800 GT 512 and I wonder how noisy it's going to be..
 
for u it's a cool idea to choose one 88gt with s larger radii & lower spinning speed fan.
the fan isn't gonna be busy if there are a few copper tube on card radiator.
 
well i cant ever hear my 8800 GT. although it is loud at 100% fan speed. but it never goes up that far so i dont think it will be a problem
 
haha no like i have listened to each fan individually ;)

computer didnt like it much. got overheating beeps from the mobo cos i was stopping the other ones. but yeah. i think its fairly quiet.
