How powerful of a fan would you put on a mobo header?

So, I've gotten hold of a 12cm AVC PWM fan out of a busted Gateway. Specs say it's >80 CFM, which makes it a fairly powerful (or at least power-hungry) fan. Not a Delta or anything, but still more so than most.

My mobo will be one of these, depending on my funds:

Both have a PWM header, and the boards themselves are obviously of good quality. Would I be ok running this fan from the mobo? What about a stock 12cm NZXT fan on the other header? It would be nice to utilize the PWM functionality, considering it's nearly 40dB at full speed, but I don't want to fry anything.

The fan headers are good up to atleast 1.5A, often up to 2A.

Find out the specs of the fan and if they are less than that, which I would imagine they are well below, it won't be a problem at all :)

Uh, fan headers are generally rated to about 1A.

If you took the fan from a gateway...you'll be fine because gateway computers use pretty cheap boards in the first place. Also, ~80cfm isnt that much, you are probably talking less than .5A.

I wouldn't worry too much about drawing too much power. I've only seen a few fans that could draw enough power to damage your ports. If I'm not mistaking they had molex plugs on them and warned against using any type of converter. I think any standard fan should be just fine.
