How to allocate WLAN network between users?

I was wondering if it's possible to limit bandwidth of users of one wlan network, so no one of them can use it's full potential. For example, if max download speed of a network is 1024 Kbps, and there are 4 users, is it possible to allocate that network between them so that everybody has 256 Kbps download speed available?
 
What you're asking is physically possible, but it might not be depending on your wireless router. You'll need to look at the QoS settings and see what is possible. If you don't see anything that helps, you might be able to install something like DD-WRT, Open-WRT, or Tomato firmware on your router that could enable those functions, if you have hardware supported by those firmware versions.
 
My router is D-Link DI-524, and it doesn't support QoS. Is there any other way I can allocate bandwidth between computers?
