How to block/close TCP.80 port?

Recently I've used the Trend Micro Housecall complete scan and found out that my TCP.80 is accessible and threats could enter through the open port.

So how do I block it or close it to prevent myself from becoming "attacked"?

I was gonna mention that.;)

Doesn't that mean if he closes it then he won't be able to access the web?
Nope, thats only if he's hosting a server. Whenever he accesses a website a request goes out from a random port over 10xx, into the web server on port 80.

I use ZoneAlarm firewall but I don't think it automatically blocks that port for me.

I don't host any server so blocking the port is ok right?

Can someone give me steps on how to block it , I use Windows Firewall when I'm gaming because ZoneAlarm sometimes give me problems..

which part do I go to? do i have to dl the presentation out?

is it possible if you can provide me with the procedures to blocking the port because that's a lot for someone who has minimal knowledge about such stuff ><

Uh let's try the easier way.
Open the service manager at the control panel - administrative tasks. Services are programs which are automatically run at the system startup without any visible window. They work in the background.

Search the list for "WWW publishing service" and click on Stop Service icon at the top. The port 80 is no longer in use, meaning that it is closed.
I hope so.

lol Plum don't be so sure...
1. step is sniffer-scan this forum,
2. is recognise his IP and hostname,
3. is just open telnet,
4. is just type in his IP/hostname and boom...
Total control...

don't see www publishing service thingy...only see WebClient ... Windows Audio ..Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing .. Windows Image Acquisition ...Windows Installer ..Windows Live Setup Properties ... Windows Management Instrumentation Properties ... Windows Time ... Wireless Zero Configuration Properties ... WMI Performance Adapter Properties ...Workstation

Strange!! See, just after Workstation I have World Wide Web Publishing...
So means your 80 posrt is actually closed...
