I'm about to clean install Vista on a computer I just build for my friend but I'm currently stuck on how to my BIOS boot from CD (Yes I know how n00b of me). The motherboard I used is a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3. Thanks in advance.
Shut your computer off, then go to enter setup, on boot. once you've enterd the setup you will need to click on Bios > boot from cd > format > install > Enjoy !
Most Gigabytes you dont have to go into the bios. When the first Bios/boot screen comes up there should be at the bottom (Press --- key for boot order or boot from CD/DVD
I donno about Gigabyte, but for my Asus, I can press the F8 button on startup which brings me to a menu from which I can choose from which device to boot from.
Much more convenient than going to BOIS and set the boot priority, and then having to set it back later.
