How to check ip address?

Because I think that the Ip detected by websites and my actual is actually different ..So how do I check my own IP address?
 
Also you have the other way if you don't trust this web sites where you see your password.That is: Run>cmd>type in:ipconfig and tap enter.
You will get the list of all IP addresses, with subnet mask and default IP.
 
well you have 2 ip addresses, internal and external. Your externel one is what websites show you so they are much more complex and like 66.234.152.255 for example. and anyone can reach you at that address. then you have your internal ip which is most likely 192.168.1.1 that is only accesable in your own house or lan network. so the websites should get your external ip address

ok that helped a lot .. got it =) but I think my external IP , the last 2 ..eg xxx.xx.xxxx.xxxx ...the xxxx.xxxx sometimes changes a little when I go different sites, they detect the last 2 differently..is that normal or maybe I remember wrongly :P
 
well it should be the same if you check it back to back at the same time, but you have a dynamic ip which means every day or so your ip changes. usualy it is a minor change like you said with the last two points.
 
Not true people. Tell me what's your connection to internet?
My IP address ALWAYS changes, like 78.xx.xx.xx 78.yyy.yy.yy.
and it's completely normal, if he's using LAN connection not USB.
