thnks

I would just use copressed air (that bottled air stuff they have for electronics), than vaccum up the dust that comes out.

yicks! bad me! LOL
how much do compressed air thingy usually cost, don't mind i live in the UK so i would highly appreciate it if u give it 2 me in £s :) also how do u use the compressed aire thingy?

thnks

sorry, dont know the conversian rate, but they are usualy between 6-8 dollars USD. Its just air in a bottle, pull the trigger, and outcome a blast of air. Careful though, cause if you turn it upside down, it comes out as liquid, like anit freeze.

well if it's between 6-8 USD, it's around £3-4, i think.....
so does it run out etc and i'll need 2 replace it or can i use it forever without replacing or refillin anything????

thnks

just remove the fan out and dust it.

Try PC World or W H Smiths I pay £6 for My cans of Commpressed air and it is good to clean the heat sink out on the processor. The fans are a little tricky as the dust seems to stick from moist air or something so I use high-purity isopropyl alcohol or acetone which you can pick up your local chemist from £1.00 and £3.00 as it wets the dust to be wiped off and evaporates so it does not spray over the other components

Hope it helps

no its a limited amount of air in each one its just like an aerisol can but there is nothing inside but air, you cant put more air in it.

dust it with a brush or wot? but wouldn't that cos static eletricity...?

i just took mine right off the heat sink and cleaned it with my fingers and a q-tip. even if static builds up on it just hold the fan touch some metal that is grounded.
