How to configure for download...

Hi All,

Hope someone will be able to help me.

When i do a direct download from a site I can get about a 100kb/s but if i use a program such as shareaza I get like 1kb/s - why?

I know it depends how many sourcse but also configuring the router, I have a BT 205 Modem router which is then feed into a belkin wireless router. I am connected to the belkin via a ethernet. I have attempted to open the ports before but never seems to do anything..

Any one can help..

What is your connection speed. I’m guessing you have dsl. I think it may be a problem with your ports. You need to configure your router for port forwarding.

I have adsl, a 1meg connection. Tried that, in the Belkin settings but either done it wrong or just didnt work...

Maybe...so how do i derestrict it?

Shareaza is P2P. So, if you are downloading from a dial up user, you will only get 1kb.
