How to connect to the internet through a separate computer

I wanna play starcraft online using my old tower computer. this computer itself does not have wireless capabilities, but would it be possible to wire an ethernet cable from the tower computer to a laptop that does have wireless capabilities? there is a wireless router in my house that has internet access, but plugging the ethernet cable from the tower computer directly into the router is not an option. can i get online this way?

You will have to enable internet connection sharing but yes, its possible. But sharing a wireless connection from the laptop isn't a good thing to do. Why don't you buy a wireless card for the desktop?
