how to connect to wifi on android 6.0.1?

No connect button after password entry?!! screen shots below.(of android 6 and the wifi)

Try connecting to another wifi. Have you rebooted phone yet? Just tried it on my GF's S5 that was upgraded to android 6 and it has the connect button.

i dont have anyother network to connect to. and, i did add a password to my wifi just now, before the password, every thing worked fine. i have rebooted
 
How about going to advanced options and choose to forget network? And then try resetting it back up.
 
That photo says "scanning", meaning it was previously visible but was no longer so you couldn't connect. Moving closer to your wireless router would allow you to connect.
