how to create login password

I installed a shell for my xp os. I can usually right click on my avatar to setup a login password, but this shell doenst allow that. I dont want to uninstall it, create the password, then reinstall. Does anyone know how to create a login password another way. thanks

Try just going under the control panel and then user accounts. Select your user and then "Add password to account".
