P Pretorius New Member Jan 9, 2005 #1 I downloaded a film, but it's corrupt and won't play. Each time I go to delete it, I get a message that it's being used by another program - it's not. I don't have room to store a useless 700Mb file on my hard drive, how can I get rid of it?

Lorand <b>VIP Member</b> Jan 9, 2005 #3 Or with the DOS "del" command. If it fails, you could get rid of that file with MoveOnBoot.
Morb New Member Jan 10, 2005 #5 solution This thing happened to me many times too. I made it by restarting computer to enter safe mode and then delete it.(100% working ;o) Morb
