How to delete or Disable search history

I am doing some early Xmas shopping and I dont want the wife to know what I have planned. I am getting idea off of google.ca. For example I will do a search on bracelets and when I go back to the google.ca website and all I need to do is type letter "b" and the word bracelet appears below. Is there anyway that I can disable that feature? Let me know thanks

Here's how to delete: Open Internet Explorer -> Click "Tools" in the Menu Bar -> Select "Internet Options" -> Under Browsing History, select "Delete" -> Then select "Clear Forms," or, if you want to delete everything, select...you guessed it..."delete all." :) I'm not sure how to disable the feature. :( You could set your wife up with a seperate user account. That's what I do. :D

Control Panel, Internet Options, Advanced, uncheck Inline Auto Complete.
