How to delete the pictures in webpage thoroughly?

I save webpages by IE, which saves them as a .htm file and a _files folder. When I try to delete a picture from the page I saved, I use MS Frontpage to edit the page. I delete one picture, and save the html file elsewise. But I find what I've deleted is only the codes in the html file, not the corresponding file in the folder. The picture I deleted from the page exists still in the folder. Then I must deleted the picture file manually. Are there any methods to delete the picture automatically when the page is edited?

There might be some program that will remove both for you, but I don't know of anything off the top of my head... I mean HTML and image files aren't exactly synchronized.
