How to disable LAN settings in IE with operating system of WINDOWS XP PRO.
I tried to find the information on the internet.
But there is no way for this problem.
Please help me.

What do you mean by disabling the lan settings? If you screw around with the settings, you won't be able to browse the internet.

That will disable lan setting in internet explorer, no in another web browser.

Step 1. From IE select Tools/Internet Options/Connections/LAN Settings.

Step 2. Put a tick in the check box next to "Use a Proxy Server for your LAN ...”
Step 3. Type in "0.0.0.0" in the address box and "80" in the Port box. Don't type in the quote marks of course, just what's inside them.

Step 4. Click OK.

Thanks all.

I have found a way for this issue.
at first, I will creat a new account of windows with the Privilege under administrator. And then I log in with that new account.
From that new account, I go to service.msc so that I can disable "Lan settings" and after that restrarting computer.
last step still log in with new account and setup new account with user limiting.

so, new account can not use internet explore But still recieve email from outlook express.
