How to download to external Hard Drive

I have a TEAC HD3U 80gb external hard drive. How hard(easy?)is it to hook it up and put all of my pictures from my Kodak Easyshare program onto the external hard drive? Thanks! I thought I asked this before but did a search and was unable to see my post. Thanks!

Can you access the pictures without the program? Like, in a folder? I'm not familiar with the program, so I'm not sure how it works. I use my hard drive as a drag-and-drop, so if you have a folder of pictures, just drag the folder into the external. If they're like, saved to the program, you can export the pictures from the program, you can export them straight to the external hard drive.
