Hello, having Vista, in Internet explorer network settings i have enabled proxy. and in firefox i also use it. as a result it appears that some softwares using proxy maybe. Because it appears that for example PuTTY software gets frequent disconnections from remote Linux server of mine, i thing cause is that proxy. I see putty uses it because when i login remote server i see my connecting ip there in lastlog.
I wanted to connect directly using PuTTY, but not sure how to exclude it from using system proxy? While keeping system proxy set/enabled in IE settings.
