How to force drivers?

I have an HP xw8000 workstation/small server tower that I want to load server 2k8 w/ hyper-v on but HP doesnt have any 2k8/vista drivers for it. Is there a way I can force it to use xp drivers? I want hyper-v cause thats what we use at work and it would be a great learning aid. If not I'll just run ESX.
 
If drivers aren't made for the hardware or OS then they won't work. Your best bet would be to look for alternative drivers. Many times the hardware manufactures have more-less generic drivers that are more diverse than what computer manufacturers offer. Drivers for newer/older software, beta drivers, etc... I'd suggest going that route first. If you say have an intel chipset, look to see if intel has the drivers for that chipset/OS.
