hi
my computer runs into strange system problem that it always hangs up forever when it starts to windows xp. I don't have important thing to backup . It's a Dell desktop that came with a system recovery CD but the the pc just can't boot up from the DVD ROM although I am pretty sure that I've configured to boot with CD/DVD under BIOS system

Anyone can teach me how to to completely format the system and reinstall windows xp using USB Flash Storage only? Thank you

Go into your bio's and check out your settings, check to see what is under boot 1st... next you should have an option to hit either f11 or f12 to go into boot order... I would just use the recovery disk... most computers will not boot from USB,,,

I think you need to check your information, as almost every computer manufactured from 2004 onward can boot to USB.

To the OP: Look for a program called Win2Flash. That will help you create a boot able XP flash drive. If that doesn't work, do a quick Google as there are plenty of guides online.
