How to free up disk space?

I only have like, 500-1000 MB left on my computer out of 654 GB. I'm recording videos...a lot of videos, actually a series, and I'm not even close to being done. I'm planning to do around 125 - 150 videos, and possibly more. Unfortunately, when I finally broke down and spent an arm and a leg on Windows 8 Pro, the MS Disc Cleanup App stopped functioning.... I think it was because it's designed for Windows 7, but if there's a different app for MS Disc Cleanup designed for Windows 8 Pro then that's not helpful because I couldn't find it.... So, if anyone knows about the MS Disc Cleanup situation then reply ASAP! I also defragmented my hard drive, but it only got back one megabyte! Dafuq -____- ! So can someone help me?!

P.S: If I have to install something, then it must be free. Don't have enough $$$ as it is.
 
You are better off buying another hard drive just for storage. Ccleaner will help but not near the amount you want it to. Yes its free, its not trial software and no upgrades needed.

Well, it's okay. I just uploaded all the videos to Youtube and then completed the last couple of videos I needed to get on Youtube. So, I think I'll just upload the videos I have rather than scrambling to free up disk space which we all know is right around the corner to impossible. But, I will definitely keep this thread as a reference to when I need it to speed up my computer. So, thank you for your help guys! :good::good::D
