how to get a computer

I was wondering the cheapest way to get a computer. I know you can get them from sites like alienware and dell or you can buy them down town or just get the case and motherboard then add to it. If I want a computer with about a 3.5 hz processor dual core, 1gig ram (I dont need a graphics card). What would be the best way to buy it. (I can build a computer so thats not a problem).

i suggest building your own computer ad save on labour, i always get my parts off of ebay but you can go anywhere, like tigerdirect.com, newegg.com

you should know where to buy the cheapest stuff, some stores have different price with the same brand. If its for games? surfing the net? or just wordprocessing?

Build it, as many people say it's confusing it's really not, plus if you have any problems you can always ask.

Depends on your price range. Just for the warning, now days, GHZ does not mean speed, so don't think the higher the GHZ, the faster the processor. It just doesn't work that way.
