How to get flash.ocx

Follow this guide to completely uninstall flash:

Then reinstall Flash and see if that fixes your problem.

If I still had the message, I'd post a screenshot. I'll post one if I get the message again.
Right now, suffice it to say, it tells me that Yahoo Messenger requires flash.ocx, which is no longer available on "this version of Windows" (which, ftr, is Vista Home Premium), even though I've had this computer for years without any upgrades, and it's only recently started acting up like this.

Are you installing the latest version of yahoo messenger which is located here? It seems you are trying to install an older version of yahoo messenger.

Is 11.5.0.228 the most recent version?
I've been trying to install it, but it keeps installing unsuccessfully.
I already told you.
But, when I finally got the installation to work correctly, that fixed the problem. Thanks.
