How to get resolutions bigger then 1024x768

After i changed the DPI to 200% so I could read the text easyier when I use my TV(trying to make it so I can always) everything gets to big, and WAY to much is 800x600 i think it is. Is there a way i can get the resaluations bigger? i have latest drviers for video card, and itsd a MX440 Nvidia
 
right click on an open space on the desktop (no icon there) then go to properties then click on the settings tab. You will see a little resolution thingie letting you choose your resolution. hope thats what you wanted.
 
it all depends on what the maximum resolution your monitor supports is.
a lot of lcd's only got up to that resolution too.
im guessing you'd need to upgrade your monitor to go further
 
Well its my TV as i mentions in the first post, and that well sucks.... I think im going to setup my moniter but closer so i can use that, then for games use thew TV(on Dualview, not clone, so i can choose different settings)
