I dont think you have a menu any more in windows7.
but you can choose what to do when you press the power button in hardware.
To choose what you want him to do is:
Right click in start menu
Properties
Tab that says Start Menu
and After ''Power button action'' you can choose what
you ,,,want him to do.
Hope that helps

You can get a gadget that has a restart, and power off, and a log off button. Just go to Gadgets --> Get more gadgets online --> at the bottom their will be a program called "TOP - Vista Shutdown Control " download that, then install it and it will be on the right side of your desktop.

yep, do that. or just stick with the arrow next to the "shut down" button show in the start menu. why do you want it so bad? i think it is nice to not have to select that option every figgin' time.

Theblackoutow: I won't use the side panel with the gadgets. It uses too much capacity.

joh06937: I want to be able to choose when i just click the power off button on my computer (hardware), so I wont have to go to start menu first.

But it's not very necessary, so I guess I'll just leave it.
