how to i restore win 7 reg to a fresh install

I Installed a fresh copy of windows 7 Ultimate 32bit software just a few weeks ago.

My question is how can I reset the registry to original after a fresh install. Take note My DVD/CD player doesn't work and I tried To use an external one and for some reason my bios doesn't support booting from an external DVD Drive.

I think this is possible through DOS. Just don't know what files to replace.
 
The only way to restore registry is if you made a backup of it after you installed everything or do another fresh install.

However, have you looked in device manager to see if it lists a dvd drive? Does it show up in "my computer"?
