How to import Recovered Bookmarks

Hello.

This is my first post.
I got my laptop formatted and I realized I didnt save my bookmarks.
I have recovered them using iCare data recovery and now I need to import them in the browsers, one for chrome and another for firefox.
I have both "bookmarks" and "bookmarks.bak" files for chrome, and a ".jsonlz4" file for firefox.
I tried many things but nothing seems to work. The picture shows the 118kb file I used to replace(deleting the bak extention), but chrome made new bookmarks and return my file back to .bak

Any suggestions?

If you decompress the jsonlz4 with lz4 you should be able to import the json file.
