How to install BF3 from disk!?! HELP!

Well I got BF3 on disk for christmas, and I'm getting really pissed off at EA and Origin and everything else. Turns out that it won't get the game off the disk, it downloads it!! What? I have a very slow internet connection and a bandwith cap at 5 GB so this can't happen. I know the game is on the two dvds, how do I get it off???? Please tell me how to play BF3 with the least downloading possible. I've already got the game on Origin and it says "Ready to Download", but why would I want to do that when the goddamn game is on the disks??? So I tried the download, thinking it would just download the game off of the disk, but nope. it tried downloading the game off the web. How can I do this???
 
BF3 does install from disk. The "downloading" is it installing from the disk. Yes, it's retarded, no, EA didn't bother to tell anyone that.

If you're worried just check task manager for internet usage while it "downloads"
 
okay, okay. Its working. This is just so dumb. its downloading at about 6mb/s and i only get like 3mb/s. I guess it is working. I can hear my Optical drive whirring loudly too, so that's good. thanks, bro.

But how will i know to switch to disk 2??
 
Okay, It stopped and asked for disk 2. Started back up again. Sounds like its working. Does anyone know the size of the patch/patches?

Oh god. 4 GB. I have a 5GB cap and ive used 2 gb already. Guess no update.
