my friend just hooked me up with a samsung sw-248 because for some reason my dvd/cd drive wont recognize blank cds. i have no idea how to install it. do i have to unscrew some shit and replace the current drive? i have absolutely no experience in disassembling computers and would rather not f*ck mine up. i have a relatively new compaq equipped with:
3400+ AMD Sempron procesor
512mb memory
160gb hard drive
a dvd+rw/cd+rw drive
windows xp
how do i connect the new drive?
