how to install driver for dell printer

I need to download and install a driver for a dell all in one 942 printer on my toshiba satellite laptop with windows 7.

How go I go about doing that?

If you have windows 7 32 bit then the vista 32 bit driver should work here.

However, if you have the 64bit windows 7 then I don't think that printer is compatible with 7.

also when printer plugged in if you go windows update and look what updates are doin about 75% of the time if there is a driver for it, it will be in there
