i want to build desktop computer but my problem is how to know if the processor i buy is compatible with the motherboard? help please

Hi Ronald,I have moved your post from Desktop Screenshots into your own thread here.

As to your question,You just have to make sure that the pocessor your choose matches the socket on the motherboard your wanting to buy,So if your getting an 1155 socket board then you want a 1155 processor.

What Cpu/Motherboard are you planning to get?

lets say i will buy asus motherboard? just like that asus motherboard then what will be the processor compatible to buy and memory also?

do you have any list for the compatibility of every different motherboard to there components let say i will get the ASUS motherboard then what processor i put? or i will get gigabyte motherboard then what processor and memory is compatible?

It all depends on the motherboard you get. The asus and gigabyte websites have cpu support pages on each motherboard so you know what processors will work with that motherboard.

the brand doesn't affect what it is compatible with, that is the socket and the chipset, we have to know either the exact model motherboard or at least sockets to be able to help you with this.

what if im going to buy msi motherboard socket 775, then how to distinguish what kind of processor should i put and memory?
someone told me if socket A the memory should be pc 133? is there any bracket of memory every socket please?
