How to lock my wireless internet?

So i went out to check my mail today and my neighbor across the street was in her yard. After I close my mail box she says thanks for the internet. I asked what she was talking about and she said her kid has a laptop and he can access my wireless internet. She knows its mine because the name is my name.

So, how do I go about locking it?

I have a Netgear Wireless-G Router WGR614

Thanks. Now I just cant get the user name and password right. I dont remember ever changing it..

should be a place in the front to reset with ink pen will do.
Strong password again, encryption on for wireless with strong password.
And authorized mac address for the wireless authorized computer. you can find your mac for your computer that is specific for your computer.
goto start, run and type 'getmac' . or ipconfig/all (in the physical addy which is the same.
may have to do from dos prompt.

appart from setting a password wich u should do anyways i no you can choose who acceses ur router even if they have the password so you would have to give them permision

You can make it a secure connection and enter a network key Read the instruction on how to set it up, depends on your model.
