how to play 6gb file

I have a 6gb game in iso. I used Daemon Tools Lite to mount it and i was able to install the file on my hard drive. I can play multiplayer (all alone however because i don't have whatever i need for online gaming), however if i try to play single player (the mode im interested in), i get an error message that says
"please insert the correct CD-ROM and retry". Should a program that mounts a file be able to play games, can anyone suggest how i can get this to work, thanks. I don't have a dual layer burner, but if i could find one, would it even work, since its one file?

YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TALK ABOUT STUFF LIKE THAT HERE, but lets say you wrote an iso program and while u tried to do something, it said, 'please insert the correct CD-ROM and retry' you probaly messed up the updates. did u patch UR program correctly? DONT post back w/ results.
