go into your routers configuration page - do this by looking on the back of your router and enter the url address in the address bar of your internet and then it will ask you to enter a user name and password - this should be on the back of the router so enter as on the back of the router
then once in click on the tab where it says wireless settings > security options and then click on any of the wpa keys and enter a password and hay presto click done and all good

sorry lol , robina,
just a final note, once i ve done so, does it mean that anytime i turn my pc on I got to type in my password to access internet?
thanks a million!!!!!!!
yeah for the first time when u access the internet on any pc it will ask you to enter the password but you only have to ewnter it once and then it will store it
You only need to enter the username and password for the router when you want to access it. Unless your internet provider is asking for your password before you can start to browse then no password should be required.
