how to reformat using pirated xp

My desktop was recently murdered by hordes of malware/spyware/viruses/nazis. I can't even get windows to boot to try to troubleshoot. So my only option is to reformat, but I don't have the original disk. Now I know pretty much nothing about reformatting manually. How do I go about doing it? I don't want to pay for windows; I'd rather pirate it. So can anyone give me a step by step on how to reformat my comp? It's a Dell Dimension 8400, if that matters. I had XP on it and I'd like to reformat to XP again. I'm sure a bunch of people have trouble you guys with this newb question, but please give me some love. (And help, too). Also, if I've posted this in the wrong place I apologize. I just found this forum through google. I'm still a virgin ;(
 
Pirating is illegal and against forum rules.

If you do not want to pay for anything, get Linux. If you want XP, pay the $100 like everyone else does.
 
It's legal if you

1. Download a legal copy of XP thats not patched.
2. You will need a COA for it. Usually its a sticker on your computer with some letter and numbers and will say authentication
