How to save router/internet connectivity settings?

I am thinking of reinstalling Windows XP on my home desktop computer. Some questions:

1. Will I lose the settings enabling internet connectivity?
2. Will I also lose these settings on the wireless laptop which is connected via router to the desktop PC?
3. Where can I go to find these settings so that I print them out to use after the OS reinstall?

Thanks,
Larry

All you will need to do is install the network drivers, lan and wireless so you can connect to internet. As long as drivers are installed all you need to do is plug in ethernet cable and you will get internet. Your wireless, you will need to connect to your router, right click on wireless icon in taskbar down by clock and click on view available wireless networks. If multiple networks are found you will need to know the SSID of your router and click on connect. If you setup security on your router, you will need to enter your security key. Once key as been accepted you will receive internet through wireless.
