Hi all

my family member got a old laptop with a lot of old films on there, he offered me if i would like them.
he said i would need a device to take them from his laptop to the device, and there is approx 100 - 150 films on the laptop

what i need to know is

how do i get them off his laptop to the plug in device
what device to i need and what GB
how get them from the device to my laptop

my family member said i would be better of leaving them on the external device if big enough not to slow down or use space on my laptop.

any advice on this

do the make / model mater about the external hard drive, and i will get a 500GB one aswell. seen a few on ebay but do not want rubbish copys of films.

also if i was going to put them on a disk for myself how do i go about doing that please

i have a dvd RW do i need to download a program, if so is there a good one i need and simple to use.
