How to shut down "Thread-View" in Thunderbird client?

Thunderbird most recent version (102.8.0) .....

When I receive an email in "TB" and make a few responses to it, much like having a conversation back and forth, each time I open the most recent "inbox" mail received, TB will open multiple e-mails of all the responses back and forth.....See attached pict of an "arrow" ( > ) of sorts that, when I click on that particular e-mail, all previous will open...

I have looked in the "views" section of TB and see nothing applicable....Is there no way to just click on the mail received and have just 1 single mail open instead of many "tabs" at the bottom of the page?.....Am I looking in the wrong section to fix this in TB?......I don't care if a received mail has a mile of e-mails included in it. Thanks.

I did search using duck-duck-go and found very similar so-called solutions but, none worked...SOOO, to answer your question - NO...
I absolutely did a due-diligence search - the "tone" of your reply seems to indicate that I did not (respectfully...).
