How to slove this ???

ntfs in a way that information is stored on the hard drive, basically for windows there's ntfs (basically your only option for xp sp2 I believe) and fat32, there's no way to change the drive without reformatting. What are you trying to unrar that is 4gb though? A whole dvd or something? And if you have ntfs, you sure you've got a couple gigs free, cause it doesn't automatically replace the rar's with whatever was compressed, you get both still

It is the only option for the windows drive, but I still use FAT32 for the other partitions

on the command, type convert /? this wil change the type of ur disk to ntfs

Or you could right-click the drive in My Computer, click format, and select the option from there

How? I never knew this....is the above DOS command what does that? And does that work on a windows drive while windows is running?
 
run chkdsk /f

Press Start > Run > chkdsk then press enter,

convert c:/fs:ntfs

it asks for the volume label for the c: drive but thats where im stuck whats the volume label for the C Drive i have tired entering the Hard Drives name...but it doesnt work
