how to span across two displays

what is any easy and CHEAP way of spanning my display across two monitors??

i dont know about spliters but if you have 2 video cards it will do that.

I have only seen splitters used to create a second desktop area but i dont think it will work to let you span an image or application screen across both monitors

A splitter will not work to be able to run multiple programs in each monitor independently because a splitter take one video connector from the computer and lets you plug in two monitors. Thus, the computer still only thinks it's one very large monitor.

If you want to run DualView you need either a video card with 2 video outputs or two video cards.

You could pick up a cheap video card for like $20, then that will work great for two monitors.
