Why Bluetooth? Most smartphones these days allow for wireless tethering, although usually for an added fee.
Im not big on these cell phones and dont use much. Have a Motorola Atrix 4G Android. whats the diff between using bluetooth and WiFi. thought they were the same. Like toys as a gift though. investigating accessing tv with AT&T and accessing computer which im thinking can be done. cell phone is a new area for me. don't know nutin about them. its wireless.
I haven't heard of any regular phones being able to tether over bluetooth, those are just for bluetooth headsets and so forth.there is not any other way except changing a smartphone?

Were they using a smartphone? It is possible with a smartphone but you usually need to hack it in order to tether, unless you purchase a tethering plan from your carrier.i just see this from a website, and someone has experienced it,it is not fast to use bluetooth to surf internet, but sometimes it is helpful
