Cromewell Administrator Staff member Mar 30, 2005 #6 yes it's S478, I forgot to include that in my post. It should be based on the 845GV chipset as well so the fastest CPU supported is a 3.06GHz P4B

Cromewell Administrator Staff member Mar 30, 2005 #8 Maybe you don't have a dimension 2400, they are spec'd to come with a 2.4/2.6GHz Celeron. Use cpuz (www.cpuid.com/cpuz) to ID the processor, it will have the socket type as well.

E elmarcorulz VIP Member Mar 30, 2005 #9 yea, dont worry its a P4 2.8 (or so it says) so itll be a Socket 478
Cromewell Administrator Staff member Mar 30, 2005 #10 A 2.8GHz P4 isn't guranteed to be s478 (this case is a S478, but that's not the point ), S775 has a 2.8 as well.
