How to uninstall a game?

This question is a little bit harder than the title makes it out to be. Basically, I uninstalled my old version of americas army and downloaded the new version. When I went to install the new one, it said that there is a previous version installed and that I must uninstall it. The problem is, I cant find where the other version is. As far as I know it is uninstalled. Anyone know where I show look to uninstall the original?

Look under your primary drive (usually "C")

C:/Program Files/America's Army

Or, whoever developed the game, I'm guessing it's just America's Army. If you can't find anything, look in your Control Panel under "Add/Remove Programs".

It also helps to reboot between an uninstall/install, especially if it's just an update to an existing software.

If you deleted the file under the c: drive or where ever drive you installed it under. If that still doesn't work then you can try a registery cleaner.

Hope this helps

This should do it for you. If you have done this and the problem still exists then you might want to try that which is suggested by vroom skies. Avoid going into your registry at all costs if you do not know what you are doing though. You can do allot of damage to your system.
