How to use a VM as a PS2 emulator?

I want to use my VM of Windows XP to emulate my old PS2 games. I don't understand how it's done, can someone explain it to me?

The acceleration you'll get over VM is non existent. You'd be better off just running pcsx2 natively.

Don't use a VM. Just use PCSX2 on your current setup.

Also not all games play correctly.

Okay. No problem there but I'm confused. It says I have to install a bios to run the emulator. Do I have to reflash my mobo?

No you need a PS2 BIOS to run the emulator.

Just to clarify, you need a ps2 bios file which you save in pcxs2's bios location and it loads it into the virtual playstation when you start it.
Read this for help getting the bios off your PS2. http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Guide-to-Dumping-Your-PS2-Bios-over-LAN

Alright I got the emulator working and most of my old PS2 and PS1 discs play perfectly fine, but I've encountered one problem that happens in racing games like Simpsons Road Rage and Need for Speed. The screen will either be all black with just the car showing, the screen will be all artifacted and have red lines going through it, but this problem is fixed if I press F9, but then the game runs slow. Example I recorded of this occurring:

It's buggy and not all games run well. I would get lag and graphical glitches in Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb.
