i get alot of spam due to some idiot signing me up for a "joke". I noticed all the messages come from the same domain (@mail.com) is there any way to turn on a filter in gmail to block all emails from a certain domain?

Within your gmail account click on: Create Filters, then, within the from field put @mail.com or whatever domain(s) you wish to delete / ignore, click on 'Next Step' and then simply check 'Delete it' and then click on 'Create Filter'. This will then automatically delete any emails you receive from the domain(s) you've specified within that filter.

Breaks.
