How to VPN / use another home network instead of mine?

I currently live in the UK and my GF in USA. Various web page are blocked here like news videos etc and I want to access them.

Is there anyway I can use my GFs connection in USA to get round this from my home network in the UK?

I don't want to remote as that is not the same experience and I can't leave my GFs computer on 24/7.

Why not just use SnoopBlocker or Vtunnel? You'd have to set up a proxy server on your GFs computer otherwise in order to access the connection.

Tunnelbear is another option as well.
