I have a Dell Latitude e650 laptop and a Logictech K520 Keyboard & mouse combo.

I am trying to find a way to wakeup my laptop from the keyboard or mouse.
As of now if it goes to sleep I have to open the laptop and press the power button to wake, which i am trying to avoid because of where my laptop sits in relation to my external monitors its a pain.

thanks

What OS are you running?

Windows 7 and Vista, press start and type in mmc devmgmt.msc and press enter.
Windows XP or Below, go to Start, and select Run, and type in mmc devmgmt.msc, then click OK.

In the Window that appears, expand keyboards, and right click your wireless keyboard and click properties, go to power management and tick "Allow device to wake computer", apply and OK everything, and try it.

Thanks for the reply,

I am running windows 7 pro

when I follow your directions under properties there is no "power management" tab. The are 3 tabs, General, Driver, and Details.

any other ideas? thanks again.
