How will this run Windows 7?

Hi guys.

Got a Win 7 dvd included with my 1101HA netbook, x86, not sure what edition yet.

Specs of the netbook are below, will 7 run alright on this?



I cannot disable Speedstep for some reason, still temporarily downclocks the processor. It's overclocked in the bios to 1.73GHz when at full usage.

Right now im running XP x86 but was wondering how I'd get along with 7?

It'll run very decent, I use win 7 on my Asus 900HA. I don't have any experience with that video processor though.

The Z520 is basically a lower clocked A270 with a higher FSB

It's Junk basically! I'll have a look around see how others are getting along with it

Apparantly it will run aero, though I found out it is a lower spec than the atom n270/gma950 combo, so how well I don't know. Be the pioneer, it's fun

Got it running now, it runs aero, JUST.

My updated installation uses around 600MB at boot

By just you mean it's choppy or something?

Yeah you see a slight stutter when moving windows around / mini/maximising them.

I've disabled transparency now, still running aero, so still looks good!
