how would you rank biostar?

They arent the best but they should work fine. if you are going to be overclocking with that board i wouldnt get it it wont overclock that much but if your not going to then get the board otherwise choose a better brand.

EDIT:are you from the us or uk cause you can get a much better board at the same or cheaper price on www.newegg.com and it would be a abit asus or msi and they are much better brands
 
I'm in the US. I don't plan on OCing.. just need a 24/7 server that can handle 5-6 hard drives over a lan because I dont think a 1.2 amd tbird can handle it :(

that motherboard will work but you can find something much cheaper on www.newegg.com for motherboards.

I will definitely browse newegg they seem to have a lot of stuff. I'm all about finding the cheapest mobo/cpu combo.. if i could get a better mobo and a 2600-2800 sempron for $100usd i'd be happy
