ok i want to overclock my compute how do i do it, i have a hp pavilion 764n witha 2.66 pentium 4 processor 512 SDRAM na da 120 GB hd

Chances are you won't be able to overclock much, if at all. HP and other companies castrate their bios, taking out all options for overclocking. There may be an update, or you may be able to use soft overclocking programs in windows, but don't get your hopes up.

when you went into the overclocking fourm bit,you should of looked at the stickys, theres one title OC101 that would prove helpful

not to mention you're trying to OVERCLOCK a.... laptop?

Its a desktop. Not system in his sig. doubt you could oc an oem system and with softfsb or w/e it still might not work
